First Post to start blogging for the class
Today is my first day to start blogging for the class. I really like the idea of collaborating with other teachers and using ideas and information. The only thing that I feel is redundant about blogging for the class and the discussion is that I feel like I just honestly repeat myself about the same thing pretty often. I wish that I could get posts from peeps that are not in the class in addition to my fellow classmates so that I would get additional info. Is anyone feeling my pain?

I feel your pain! I've started inviting some of my friends and colleagues who are fighting the same battle as me with Game Play and Development in Education as a technology learning tool. I spent most of yesterday transferring my blog to Wordpress, learning Wordpress and its features, troubleshooting and "immediate upload" problem, adding a resources page where I researched topics and started adding some useful links, and trying to weed through and figure out what the different types of RSS utilities are and how they work. I'm still not totally certain whether the RSS Reader and Aggregator are the same things...
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I have been searching to find other blogs like mine that carry information on the topic I am researching so I can add them to my "Blogroll." My intention is to touch base with the people in these blogs by adding comments to their blogs and seeing if the will "friend" me and add to my blog. That's an idea you could try also to "expand" your contributors. :o) Hope this helps! ~Shanna Falgoust
